Samira Iran was born in 1985 and obtained her bachelor in the field of Bio-Medical Engineering. She studied Master of Business Administration (MBA) focusing on international marketing at Sharif University of Technology in Iran (2011). In her master thesis, she surveyed consumer buying behavior in context of green consumption.
She started her PhD at TU- Berlin since February 2012. She is studying consumer buying behavior in terms of sustainable fashion consumption. The research focus is on the role of cultural factors and differences between Islamic and western countries.
