Ulf Schrader is giving a guest lecture on ”How saving time leads to destruction of time-wealth and environment – and what could be done against it” on February 1, 2018, at George Perkins Marsh Institute, Clark University, Worcester (USA).

Ulf Schrader presented a lecture on "Meditating for the planet - Quantitative results of a mindfulness intervention study on sustainable consumption" at the GRF Third International Conference on "Sustainable Lifestyles, Livelihoods and the Circular Economy" at the end of June.

On 8th of June 2015 Ulf Schrader gave an interview to The Federation of German Consumer Organisations, titled „The school subject Economy – Work – Technology can be used as leading subject for consumer education“. Beginning on the 1st of April 2015 the department Economic Education and Sustainable Consumption (ALÖNK) will be the head of the project from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Integrating Employees as Consumers into Sustainability Innovation Processes (IMKoN). [14]The project will run for three years and is funded by the BMBF with 1.125 m euro.

The conferral of a doctorate from Vera Fricke dealing with the subject of “CSR-Kommuniktion für Konsumentenverantwortung” is now available at Metropolis Verlag für Ökonomie, Gesellschaft und Politik [15].

Beginning on the 1st of April 2015 the chair Economic Education and Sustainable Consumption (ALÖNK) will be the head of the project from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) BiNKA (PDF, 113,3 KB) [16] – Education for Sustainable Consumption through Mindfulness Training. The project will run for three years and is funded by the BMBF with 835,000 euro.

From the middle of March till the middle of July John Thøgersen [20] is Visiting Professor at the IBBA. John Thøgersen is professor in economic psychology and coordinator of the „Marketing and Sustainability Research Group“ at Aarhus University, Denmark. He is one of the most prestigious experts for sustainable consumption worldwide and is cooperating for years with the Division of Economic Education and Sustainable Consumption at TU Berlin.

The volume "Enabling Responsible Living" [21], edited from Ulf Schrader and Vera Fricke, is now published. The book focuses on responsible living from a practical as well as a theoretical perspective.
